Visser to the Hall

In yesterday's Sun-Sentinel, Patrick Dorsey did a really nice story on CBS' Leslie Visser, who's entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend. Visser comes across in the feature as exactly as she has always been thought of -- a class act.

Please. . . she is not "entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame." The Hall of Fame is giving her the annual Pete Rozelle Award for "long-time exceptional contributions to radio and television in professional football."

Oh, let's not get too literal here. As with the writers going into Cooperstown, she's considered to be entering a wing of the Hall of Fame. Nobody's confusing her with Bart Starr.
